Visiting Other German Cities
Depending on the amount of time you plan on spending in Tübingen learning German, you may well want to consider visiting other German cities. There are so many cities we would recommend you visiting, please see below. Some of these cities are located relatively far away from Tübingen, meaning that the best way to reach them would be via plane. However, there are many cheap airlines that run from either Stuttgart International aiport or Karlsruhe baden-baden airport, germanwings running regular services to and from most major German cities. So why not spend a weekend looking round the capital, or go on a day trip to Stuttgart!

Visiting the German capital is a great way to spend a weekend! There is so much to see and do here, that this city is definately worth a visit! Although it is quite far from Tübingen, all that is needed is a short train journey to Stuttgart airport and then 45mins in the air, and you arrive in the capital in record time, leaving you two full days to see the capital. Lagerraum Berlin

The business and finance metropolis of Germany, also known as the 'Manhatten of Germany' due to its location along the Main river, is a short flight away from Stuttgart international airport, with many places to see and lots of things to do. Please refer to the

The city of Freiburg, the gateway to the Black Forest and home to approximately 200,000 people, 30,000 of those being students. The city is the cultural, economic and administrative centre of South Baden. Freiburg has many things to see, with many museums, churches, shops and a cathedal, it also has a great nightlife and many great restaurants. Please visit the

Munich is considered to be one of Germany's most popular travel destinations, located in South East Germany, it is the capital of Baveria, the southern most region of the country. Easily accesible by plane from stuttgart international airport or a few hours in a car from Tübingen will bring you to this beautiful city. Munich has many places of find out more, please visit the
